As a local family run business, we appreciate that for most people the purchase of a used vehicle is a major decision. Since our establishment we've worked hard to cultivate a good strong reputation and aim to offer potential customers peace of mind when choosing to buy a car from ourselves.

All the vehicles we stock are hard picked by the directors and chosen with quality and condition at the front of our minds. All vehicles are sold with a new or recent independent MOT and in addition we also offer three months mechanical breakdown cover on all vehicles priced £3000 and above.

The benefit of this cover is that if you do have an eligible issue with your vehicle post sale not only will we handle your claim personally, but it will be dealt with promptly, efficiently and, perhaps most importantly, fairly.

Terms and conditions of the coverage apply and full details are provided in our Lawgistics driver mechanical breakdown booklets or can be obtained by contacting ourselves via email or phone.

Claims Procedure

Our claims procedure is simple and straightforward:

  • Please firstly telephone or email Affordable Cars of Sussex to make us aware of the issue
  • Affordable Cars of Sussex will then make arrangements for you to take the vehicle into one of our approved independent garages for inspection
  • Once diagnosis of the issue has been confirmed eligibility of the claim will then be decided in accordance with the terms of the cover provided at point of sale
  • If the fault is covered under warranty the works will be approved by Affordable Cars of Sussex without delay and the issue shall be remedied as soon as is possible and you can come and collect the vehicle from the garage once ready.

Please note courtesy vehicles are not supplied.

In the event that a vehicle must be returned for inspection for a warranty claim or returned for any other reason the customer will bear all costs of return unless other prior agreements have been made
